Otsego & Delaware County Residents
Visions is about people, not profits. As a credit union, giving back is what we do. Visions supports hundreds of causes in many different ways.
Grants and donations fund good works. Employee volunteers pay it forward. Sponsorships support community events. Acts of kindness make people's days brighter.
Every year, we donate over $1 million to more than 500 causes and organizations throughout our communities.
Our employees donate thousands of hours of their time too, volunteering for causes that matter to them, not just those sponsored by Visions.
We sponsor the things that make our communities great, from fundraising walks to art festivals. In addition, we perform dozens of acts of kindness that range from toiletry items for teens, reusable grocery bags for food pantries, even offering an umbrella on a rainy day.
You're invited to be a part of our community-minded mission.
We give back to hundreds of community organizations with causes of all kinds! These are just a few of their stories.

Visions Loves Educators
We love educators for all the passion they put into their jobs. We also understand that most put a lot of their own money into their classrooms. That's why we created the Visions Loves Educators Classroom Funding Program. Visions will award full funding, up to $500, for projects submitted by educators at the pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Educators can count on exclusive bonuses, too. It's not just dollars and cents, though. We also give educators the tools for financial stability so that they can strengthen students and families. Visions also recognizes educators with exclusive programs like the Educator of the Year Award and Student Loan Eraser.
Visions Veterans Program
Visions cares about veterans. They served their country, now we're here to serve them. They are the cornerstone of our country, so we're here to help keep them strong through a variety of special programs and bonuses for vets and their spouses.
Financial wellness is a key part of Visions' mission, a commitment to the entire community. We want our veterans to be financially strong, so we offer free and confidential consultation and advice in a number of areas, including basic financial education as well as investment, Medicare, mortgage, and insurance guidance.
Each year, we make five $1,000 scholarships available to dependents of veterans through our Visions Salutes Scholarship program. Visions gives back on behalf of our veterans through an exclusive debit card program, too. For each person who chooses the Americana card design, we donate to an important veterans' organization. It's our way of giving back to all the veterans who make day-to-day life in our communities possible.
Visions Financial Literacy
Understanding your finances is important. Whether you're figuring out a budget, managing your debt, or planning for retirement, it's a case of the more you know, the better off you are. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the resources they need. That's where we come in.
As an organization, we provide financial education programs to the communities we serve - free of charge. Our resources are designed for everyone whether they bank with Visions or not, with content created for all ages and backgrounds. Invite us into your classroom, troop meeting, church group, or workshop.
