Financial Well-Being for Ages 18 to 25
Introduction
At this stage in life, you’re likely managing an income, adjusting to monthly bills, and applying for your first loans. Our Forward account supports these next steps in financial wellness, whether you’re starting your career, pursuing higher education, or both.
If you're eligible to join Visions, all you'll need is valid ID and proof of address to open an account. Stop by your local branch, give us a call at 800.242.2120, or click the link below to get started.
Forward Account
If you're between the ages of 18 and 25, you could be eligible for our full range of products and services. Expand the "Personal" dropdown menu above and start exploring or connect with a representative to discuss your financial goals.
Not sure where to start? Checking accounts, digital banking, and direct deposit are a good trio to help anyone settle into the benefits of a Visions membership. And be sure to check out our share certificates or Lucky Savers to earn higher dividends on your balances!
Curious about how to fund a large expense or pay for emergencies? We offer two great credit cards that can help with the day to day, or consider a personal loan if you know a big purchase is on the horizon.
As for exclusive opportunities, here's what is available with your Forward account – only for members ages 18 to 25.
The Budget Saver
When it varies from month to month or season to season, income can be challenging to manage – but it doesn’t have to be! Perfect for college students, seasonal workers, and more, our Budget Saver is a time-based savings account that can help you budget between a high-earning season and a low-earning season.
Here’s how it works:
Open a Budget Saver and you can choose a portion of your income – or any savings deposit! – into the account. As your balance grows, you’ll earn dividends, and then we’ll disburse the funds automatically to cover gaps in your income.
Choose between two disbursement options:
- 3 Months – Nine months of saving, followed by three monthly disbursements
- 9 Months – Three months of saving, followed by nine monthly disbursements
Open your Budget Saver in digital banking, at your local branch, or by calling 800.242.2120.
Pro Tip: To make the most of your Budget Saver and manage your budget in digital banking, we suggest using direct deposit of payroll to your Visions account.
First Auto Loan Bonus
If you're 18 to 25 and it's your first time financing a vehicle, we'll give you an extra reason to celebrate. Enjoy a $50 cash bonus* when you finance your first auto loan with us.
Apply at your local branch, through our Contact Center at 800.242.2120, or using our online loan application.

Your Debit Card for Daily Spending
Why debit beats cash, checks, and credit! Accounting for nearly a third of all consumer transactions in the US, debit cards are used more than cash, checks, and credit cards. That shouldn't come as a surprise, though. While they've been popular for decades, debit cards have advanced with technology to make transactions faster, more secure, and easier to track.
