Our Add a Share/Certificate feature in digital banking lets you quickly and easily add new shares to your existing Visions accounts – all from your desktop, laptop, or mobile device.
Not only that, it's as simple as choosing your account, agreeing to the terms, and funding it however you see fit. Keep reading to learn how it works or simply watch this video for a quick tutorial.
How to use the New Account Gateway in digital banking
Step One: Choose Your Account
To get started, select the "Add a Share/Certificate" button under the Quick Links in online or mobile banking.
You'll be taken to our New Account Gateway, where you can choose which account types you'd like to “Add to Cart.” You can also “Compare Products” to review features, requirements, and other details. Before moving onto the checkout, you're welcome to add up to five shares and certificates to your cart.
Options for your personal accounts include:
- Share Money Manager – our standard savings accounts
- Flex Money Market – savings for higher balances with competitive rates
- Checking Accounts – convenient payment options, plus a complimentary Visa® debit card!
- Share Certificates – time-based savings with great rates and flexible terms

Step Two: Add a Promo Code or Additional Services
Once you've selected your accounts and added them to your cart, you will have the opportunity to input a Promo Code. You also may be prompted to request or decline additional services. Review the details and indicate your preference before proceeding.
Step Three: Fund Your Account
Now all you need to do is make your first deposit. You'll be presented with several funding options, so feel free to use whichever is best for you:
- External Transfer: Want to fund your account from another institution? No problem. Just enter in your bank's information to initiate an ACH transfer.
- Credit or Debit Card: Funding your account is as simple as entering your credit or debit card number from another institution.
- Internal Transfer: If you'd like to fund the new share from an existing Visions account, this will provide a dropdown of options for your transfer.
Review and Submit!
The next screen provides an opportunity to review the application and acknowledge any required disclosures. When that's done, submit it and the next screen should offer confirmation whether your new share is opened.
When you return to your digital banking Home page, don't worry if you don't see the new share(s) right away. Simply log out and log back in if you wish to view or utilize the new share.
