Syracuse, NY – Visions Federal Credit Union has announced plans to open a new branch in Syracuse, NY.
Visions will be opening their new branch at 145 Marshall St., located along the northern edge of Syracuse University’s campus. The branch, which is expected to open later in 2026, will be Visions’ third branch in Onondaga County. In addition to regional branches in Westside Syracuse and Cicero, they offer comprehensive financial services in a three-state footprint in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and serve more than 250,000 members in all 50 states and around the world.
This expansion reflects the credit union’s growing presence in the Syracuse community and, notably, on campus at Syracuse University. Over the last few years, Visions has partnered with university organizations and departments to support the financial wellness of students and faculty. These university partnerships include the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs, Syracuse University Athletics, and the Whitman School of Management. With Visions’ support, the university helps to prepare and empower student-athletes, veterans, and military connected students with financial resources, credit counseling, and more.
“We’ll be just up the road from bus lines, surrounded by popular businesses, campus life, and our university partners. It’s about as convenient as it gets,” says Tim Strong, Visions’ AVP Branding and Community Impact. “We look forward to building even more relationships in this community and strengthening our impact here, both in terms of financial well-being for members and also the support we provide to local causes.”
