"Early marriage. Young motherhood. A career built while raising a family. Walking away from workplaces that cost me more than they gave. Cancer, twice. And the slow work of rebuilding who I was on the other side of all of it. None of that was a setback. It became my foundation.
What I care about most is helping women advocate for themselves. Not someday. Now. Whether you're 27 and learning to hold your own in your first leadership role, or 52 and rebuilding after midlife changed the rules, the work is the same. You learn to trust yourself, and you stop waiting for permission to do it.I don't just talk about this. I'm living it. Through D5 Consulting Group, AmiraEvolved, and gatherings like The Shifted Lounge, I bring women from every background and every stage of life into the same room, where real conversation happens and no one has to fake anything to belong there.
The hardest barrier I had to get past wasn't outside of me. It was believing that everything I'd survived made me less qualified to lead. It made me more qualified. My life is my proof. This is the part I never lose sight of. None of us get there alone. When women advocate for themselves and lift each other up at the same time, the whole community gets stronger. That's the work I do, and I'm honored to do it."
