Visions Promotes Financial Wellness to Students
CENTENARY UNIVERSITY – Nearly 80 high school students participated in Centenary University's "Future Educators University Experience" on October 30th. Designed for local students interested in pursuing a career in education, this event detailed Centenary University's education curriculum, providing students with a first-hand opportunity to explore their potential major.
In addition, several staff members of Visions Federal Credit Union were on hand to educate students on a variety of financial wellness topics. These presentations included information on credit scores, budgeting, social media hacking, card breaches, and more.
Centenary University's Dean of Education, Dr. Catherine Benedict, was in attendance and grateful that students had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of healthy finances. With several more events scheduled throughout the upcoming year, financial wellness is sure to make an impression in Morris County.
