Binghamton, NY – On November 6th, Visions Federal Credit Union hosted their 2nd annual Veterans Expo at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in downtown Binghamton, NY. The event offered community members a free opportunity to network, celebrate veterans, and connect with organizations that serve veterans and their families in Broome County and throughout the region.
The resource fair kicked off with an opening ceremony, featuring musical fanfare, presentation of colors by the Binghamton Police Department, and recognition of those who served in United States Armed Forces. During the event, more than 130 attendees explored a range of services from 35 vendors. Services included workforce assistance, suicide prevention, medical care, insurance, physical fitness, financial readiness, elder foster care, and more.
Visions offered a free meal to all attendees and provided information about their Veterans Program, which provides exclusive opportunities and contributions to support veterans and their family members in Visions’ communities.
