LANCASTER, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association recently recognized Visions Federal Credit Union with marketing awards.
The Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Credit Union Association is a trade group that provides legislative, promotional, educational and operational support for credit unions in Pennsylvania.
Visions took home two "Market. Innovate. Create" awards at PCUA's EVOKE Marketing Conference Oct. 3. Campaigns for the #ThanksVisions project and home improvement campaign were selected for the honors.
The #ThanksVisions campaign marked the credit union's 50th anniversary with surprise giveaways, random acts of kindness and just plain fun in the community, all documented on a website and through the #ThanksVisions hashtag on social media.
The home improvement campaign advertised a special personal loan geared toward do-it-yourselfers. The unique toolbox-shaped mailer, catered to the audience of homeowners was what caught the judge’s attention which lead to a win for best in print.
Both campaigns earned Diamond Awards from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council in national competition earlier this year. The creative work and marketing strategy were developed by ABC Creative Group of Syracuse.
