VFCU Higher Education Student Advisory Council

Student Advisory CouncilBINGHAMTON, NY. - Visions Federal Credit Union is assembling an Advisory Council for students at SUNY Broome. The Advisory Council will allow Visions to gain a better understanding of how students spend, save and borrow money with hopes of improving the millennial banking experience for all its members.

Chosen council members will get an exclusive chance to work with a leading financial institution offering guidance and at the same time will build their resumes, developing financial skills and gain first-hand experience working with a credit union.

"We want to give back to the community and set students up to succeed financially," said Timothy Strong, Business Development Manager at Visions. "In addition to us continually improving, we're also helping students gain the necessary skills to succeed financially."

Participating members of the Advisory Council will also be given the chance to network with local professionals and learn more about saving and banking. This opportunity will set students up for financial success and offer real-world experience simultaneously.
