Trust and Estate Planning
OK, planning for the inevitable is never pleasant; however, it is something everyone needs to do. After spending a life time accumulating your wealth, we are sure you would like to know that your hard work will truly benefit those you care for.
So how do you make sure your money will best benefit the individuals you are going to leave it to? For instance will they be spending it on a new car, or will they be spending it on a college education? How will the beneficiaries of your estate manage their portion of their inheritance after you are gone?
A Revocable Living Trust (RLT) can be used as a substitute for a Will and also provide for you and your family during your lifetime. Upon your death, assets in a Revocable Living Trust avoid probate which can allow for a faster and easier method of distribution to your family.
We all love our children, but perhaps one may not be able to manage money, for whatever reason. One solution is the RLT. Trustees can control how and when assets are made available to beneficiaries.
