PHISHING NOTICE

There are many scams on the Internet today. Email "phishing" scams are very common and target financial institutions including Banks, Credit Unions, Credit Card companies, etc. Most likely these scams send email notes to millions of people on the Internet and the note may have copied some text and graphics from a website and then asks you to provide personal information after following a link in the email. Be suspicious of such phishing attempts. Phishing scams by email are false claims and fake website links that hackers have created in order to scam you. They are trying to commit fraud and obtain your personal information.

Many times the hacker will use official looking content from NCUA, FDIC, other Federal Government sites, and/or Bank or Credit Union sites including Visions website. Do NOT follow or click on any web link in an email message that appears suspicious. Visions will NEVER ask for any personal information such as username, password or card information from a link within an email message.

If you received an email and chose to respond with your confidential account information, please change your VisionLine password immediately. If you also responded with your Access Card/Debit Card/Credit Card information, please call 607-786-2000, ext. 229. As always, you may contact Visions Security Department at 607-786-2000, ext. 529 or 627.

Visions takes the security of your account information very seriously and will continue to educate you of these third-party attempts to improperly obtain such information. Please review your accounts on a regular basis and alert Visions if you see any unauthorized activity.
